with PDF Export per Year, after CSV & API Support
Tax spreadsheets.... something your users need or we’ll be tracking our crypto’s from jail.
In the USA, we use use "Schedule D, IRS Form 1040" which requires listing the cost basis and proceeds of each trade. Most people trade on the basis of FIFO (first-in-first-out). Thanks.
Yes!!! Please add support for Australia too. This is a much needed feature
To my fellow Canadians! (and any other regions that use the ACB method for capital gains tax reporting)
Although tax reporting isn't built into Delta yet, I've submitted a preemptive feature request to have the ACB method added when the time comes.
Please go upvote if you need the ACB method!
Yes, this would definately help. I am currently using Cointracking.info as it is great for tax, but I was hoping to use Delta instead, but need FIFO & reporting tax reporting.
Mine is a vote for UK
If you're looking for this now, an option to check out is www.cointracker.io
@Chandan Lodha: yeah and very expensive. would love to have this on delta Mac desktop and support this guys.
For Dutch tax, we would like to know what the total portfolio EUR (USD) eq. was on 1th of Januari previous year.
Yep. This would be a nice feature to have for ”MULTIPLE” COUNTRIES!
Wow, good suggestion.
@Gas Boi: and so obvious after api & csv features
Yes please, this should be one of the main features of a good portfolio tracker
@Christiaan: and it’s still an usp
I feel like there should be a lot more people asking for this feature. If you trade a lot it's going to be a nightmare to work out your capital gains come tax time, unless there's an import feature (either API or CSV) and the ability to generate some sort of a tax/capital gains report. CoinTracking.info has this and I'm tempted to pay their high membership price just to make taxes easy.
@Greg: I would pay DELTA an APP Price (not a big fan of subscriptions) for this Feature as well. just to get a PDF Export for Taxes. best feature to complete the circle after API & CSV
@edi: Although Delta's subscription price does seem kind of high when compared to other apps, once they have a desktop client with full device-to-device syncing, automatic API imports, and hopefully a yearly tax report, for me personally I'll have no problem paying for it year after year. I love the app so much already that I paid for the pro version before these features were even implemented, and once the above features are implemented I'll be able to leave all other apps and software behind.
@Greg: you are absolutely right. lets spread this Vote ;)
Please this! Especially with new US tax code. USD value of each transaction (like you show in the app).
